 Will Dagger has helped develop new work at New Dramatists, The Lark, Primary Stages, Clubbed Thumb, Playwrights Horizons, The Civilians, New York Theatre Workshop, The Actors Studio, and The New Group. He has acted in EST Memberfest readings (Katie Atcheson, Daniel Reitz, Edward Setrakian), First Light readings (Sinead Daly, Andrea Lepcio), and various short plays and full-length workshops by members of Youngblood (Will Arbery, Chiara Atik, Stephen Brown, Julia Doolittle, Jahna Ferron-Smith, Ava Geyer, Cary Gitter, Amanda Keating, Nadja Leonard-Hooper, Catya McMullen, Megan Meinero, and Kristen Slaney). Recent stage credits include AMONG THE DEAD (Ma-Yi), THE CONVENT OF PLEASURE (Cherry Lane), TREES IN THEIR YOUTH (Signature Center), LATTER DAYS (Ars Nova), WOOD CALLS OUT TO WOOD (Brooklyn College Weasel Festival at The Public), VERANO PLACE (FringeNYC Outstanding Ensemble), PUCKER UP AND BLOW (FringeNYC Best Overall Play), and NAPOLEON IN EXILE (59E59). TV credits include LAW & ORDER: SPECIAL VICTIMS UNIT, I KNOW THIS MUCH IS TRUE (HBO), and DECEPTION (ABC). Will is a co-founder and director of Calliope, a theatre company that devises large-ensemble hyperrealistic plays through long-form improvisation loosely inspired by classic works of literature and poetry.
