Mike Smith Rivera is a Brooklyn-born Mexican-American actor, writer, director, editor, and clown. He is co-CEO (with his wife, Kelly Anne Burns) of Burning Clown Productions (www.burningclown.tv), a production company specializing in developing and realizing new works of film and theatre (including the Drama Desk-nominated The Navigator). In his spare time, Mike emcees, does voice-over work, improvises, and puts a learning on apprentice clowns at the Fool School. An NEA Performance Grant recipient, Mike has studied at the Dell'Arte International School of Physical Theatre, the Institute for Canadian Clowning, and Syracuse University. He is proud to be a part of the EST family.
