Peter Basch is a native New Yorker, and earned his BA in Physics at Columbia. Peter worked at the Manhattan Punch Line Comedy Theater and the Ensemble Studio Theatre, where he became a member in 1991. In Curt’s Lab, Peter developed a short play, English (It’s Where the Words Are), which was featured in the 1996 Marathon. This play brought him to LA, where he met his wife, Ellen Sandler. English... was featured at the HBO New Writers Project, Seattle's Bumbershoot Festival, and the Aspen Comedy Festival. Peter appeared as Graduate Student #1 in Paulie, a Parrot's Tale. Since then, Peter has touched base with his scientific roots, and is a technical writer at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory, in Pasadena. He will be appearing in EST LA's 2017 One-Act Festival in Nick Ullett's How Do I Get to Carnegie Hall?
