Versatile actress Jennifer Carta graduated from Northeastern University with a Bachelor’s degree in Drama.  She continued to study theatre as an acting apprentice at Actor’s Theatre of Louisville, alongside Sarah Jane Agnew, Joshua Hopkins and Jason Butler Harner.  She moved to New York City where she had her Broadway debut in the Tony Award winning play Side Man.  She went on to do more Broadway.  First with the Broadway National Tour of Proof, understudying both lead roles Catherine and Claire.  Once the tour finished, she joined the Broadway Company, finally playing the role of Catherine to standing ovations.

Before moving to Los Angeles, Jennifer had accumulated film and television roles landing parts in "Law & Order," “P.S.” with Laura Linney and the hit indie film “Kissing Jessica Stein.  Once in Los Angeles, she continued working in both mediums, working on such shows as “24”, “The Game”, “Medium” and “Justice”.  She now plays the role of Deanna Vega, Mom to Victoria Justice on the new hit Nickelodeon show, “Victorious”.
