Kevin Shinick began his acting career on the Broadway stage in such productions as The Seagull (w/Laura Linney), Saint Joan (w/Michael Stuhlbarg), Timon of Athens (w/Brian Bedford), The Government Inspector (w/Lainie Kazan), The School for Scandal (w/Tony Randall) and Night Must Fall (w/Matthew Broderick) before going on to host the Emmy winning PBS series Where In Time Is Carmen Sandiego? Since then, Kevin has become an Emmy Award-winning writer (Robot Chicken), a #1 Bestselling author (Star Wars: Force Collector) and a celebrated comic book creator (W.E.B. of Spider-Man, The Flash, Batman, Guardians of the Galaxy), as well as an actor, director and multiple Annie Award-winning producer.

Along the way, Kevin has earned a veritable pop culture pedigree by working alongside George Lucas (Star Wars: Detours), directing Stan Lee (Marvel's Spider-Man), collaborating with the rock band KISS (Scooby-Doo and KISS: Rock and Roll Mystery) helping Mike Tyson solve some mysteries (The Mike Tyson Mysteries) and turning MAD Magazine into the Emmy nominated animated series known simply as MAD.
