Nobel is a new musical exploring the genesis of the Nobel Prize. It tells the story of dynamite inventor Alfred Nobel and Bertha von Suttner, his secretary, who reshaped his legacy and became the first woman to win the Nobel Peace Prize.

Benjamin Weiner is a playwright and composer. His work has been seen and heard at Ars Nova, Dixon Place, Brooklyn Yard, and the Brick Theater, and he has received support from the Sloan Foundation, the Playwrights' Center, the HMBG Foundation, and SPACE on Ryder Farm.
