Brigitte Viellieu-Davis is a New York-based playwright, producer, performer and consultant. She is an accomplished performer of stage and television, and an award-winning and published playwright. She has worked with theatrical pioneers like Anna Deavere Smith and Eve Ensler, and has created initiatives for and consulted with such organizations as NYU’s School for Art & Public Policy, The Actors Fund Home, Educators for Social Responsibility, The Institute on the Arts & Civic Dialogue, Rattlestick Playwrights Theater, Urban Stages, & Womens Project Theater, as well as being an adjunct professor at Touro & Bloomfield colleges. She holds an M.F.A. from Carnegie Mellon University, and is a member of Actors Equity, SAG/AFTRA, Dramatists Guild, Ensemble Studio Theatre, EST’s Playwrights Unit, and was an evaluator for Lark Play Development Company’s LitWing.
